After a 2 week installation , the Dragon Boiler and Kiln are almost ready to be fired up for the first time, and our first batch of kiln dried logs will be underway. At the weekend, I saw a huge pallet of Kiln Dried logs at a garden centre, approximately 12-16 logs in a plastic bag, @£7.99!!! Why would you want to pay 1/6th of the price of a single barrow bag, for 1/12th of the logs?? Crazy!!But there must be hundreds of people out there buying them in that form, as the stock levels were huge! Garden Centres are not exactly renowned for stocking bulky items that don’t sell!
